In Patagonia In The Loop - fishing trips, we offer two types of guided fly fishing trips: Half-Day and Full-Day experiences, designed to match your schedule and fishing goals.
Our Half-Day Trip is the perfect option for visitors with limited time. We generally recommend fishing the Limay River, located just 25–30 km (about a 30-minute drive) from downtown Bariloche. Its proximity, beautiful scenery, and excellent trout fishing make it an ideal choice for a rewarding outing without spending too much time traveling.
For anglers looking to explore more of Patagonia, our Full-Day Trips provide access to a wider selection of rivers and lakes across the region. Depending on the season and current fishing conditions, we'll choose the destination that offers the best opportunities, ensuring a personalized and memorable experience.
Whether you're a first-time fly angler or a seasoned fisherman, we'll tailor the day to your experience level and help you enjoy the very best of Patagonia's waters.
Half-Day Trip
Our Half-Day Trip is the perfect option for anglers with limited time who still want to experience the best of Patagonian fly fishing. We generally recommend the Limay River, located just 30 minutes (25–30 km) from Bariloche. With excellent fishing opportunities and stunning scenery, it's the ideal choice for making the most of a half day on the water.
Full-Day Trip
Our Full-Day Trip offers the opportunity to explore a wider selection of Patagonia's finest rivers and lakes. We choose each destination according to the season, current fishing conditions, and your experience level, ensuring the best possible day on the water. This option provides a more complete and immersive fly fishing experience.

We recommend bringing sunscreen, a hat or cap, polarized sunglasses, a waterproof rain jacket, and an extra warm layer. Weather conditions in Patagonia can change quickly, so dressing in layers is always the best choice.

My name is Ezequiel Speranza, a Professional Fly Fishing Guide with over 10 years of experience guiding anglers throughout Northern and Southern Patagonia, Argentina, as well as the Brazilian Amazon. I enjoy sharing not only exceptional fishing opportunities, but also the unique landscapes, wildlife, and culture that make these destinations unforgettable.
I am certified as a Professional Fly Fishing Guide by the Asociación de Guías Profesionales del Parque Nahuel Huapi y Patagonia Norte, and I am authorized to guide within Nahuel Huapi National Park and the Province of Neuquén.
Safety is at the heart of every trip. I hold a current Wilderness First Responder (WFR) certification and have professional training in river navigation, rowing, and rescue techniques. Whether you are casting a fly for the first time or pursuing trophy trout, my goal is to provide a safe, personalized, and rewarding experience tailored to your expectations.
